Anthony Orefice

I have lived in the Santa Clarita valley since 1990 and I have been able to see this valley grow into a great place to raise your family with blue ribbon schools, beautiful parks, paseo's, and off road trails with abundant wildlife. There is also a wonderful collage of great restaurants, things to do, and entertainment choices for the couples and the whole family to enjoy!

I am proud to call the Santa Clarita home.

I have been a Realtor since 2005.  I have had the great pleasure helping families buy and sell their homes in my neighborhood and with my experience and tenure, I will certainly introduce you to many wonderful aspects Santa Clarita has to offer.

Access Consulting

In addition to living in Santa Clarita for more than 20 years, I also have experience with "disability adaption" in residential living and local community access. Consulting and advising many families, realtors, and contractors for many years, is another area of expertise I have that can be beneficial for you or a loved one.

The City of Santa Clarita is a young, vibrant, and dynamic City that has garnered a strong reputation for the high quality of life enjoyed by residents, which didn’t happen by accident.  Careful planning and an active and engaged community have resulted in an unparalleled City that is now the third largest in Los Angeles County.

Accessible Home & Community Consultant

As an individual with a disability that utilizes a wheelchair, I know first hand the importance of working with someone who is knowledgeable in access options and ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliance features in a residence and in the community.

I have lived in Santa Clarita for over 20 years and experienced a spectacular growth in accessibility, not only within the community but also in the spectrum of accessible and adaptive products. Advancements that are closing the gap between individuals with disabilities and the enjoyment of personal freedom and independence.

I am available to help you find homes within the Santa Clarita communities that are, or that can be fitted for different type of access options to fit you or a loved ones needs.

My Story

I was 19 years old and thought I had the world at my finger tips. I loved to ride dirt bikes, surf, snow board, wake board, fish, and work out. On November 27, 1993 just after Thanksgiving, my parents and brother joined some of our family in Laughlin, NV., while I stayed home since I had to work. Believe it or not, this was the first time my parents left me home for an extended period of time. Since they were gone I thought, what better time to have some friends over. A good friend came over with his street bike (which I loved to ride) and I later took another friend for a ride late that night. While I was driving the motorcycle with my friend on the back, he fell off. After he fell I was not able to keep the bike on the street since the balance was thrown off. The bike swerved off the road and I hit a telephone pole. I would soon learn that my life would not be the same.

According to the reports, I needed to be resuscitated twice and due to my internal and external injuries I only had enough blood to keep my heart pumping. I remained in ICU for 6 weeks on life support. After I was taken out of ICU, I was soon transferred to several hospitals. During that time I had 9 surgeries and remained in the hospital(s) for 6 months.

I have learned so much in the last 22 years, living with a spinal cord injury. I thought it was a life I could never live, but it became easier in time, with lots of practice and prayer. You learn to be creative.

Today, I am happily married to my girlfriend at the time of my accident and a father to our son Noah. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family on fishing and camping trips. I also enjoy helping others with spinal cord injuries and various other disabilities. I want them to be able to overcome some of the obstacles that I was able to. I tell people that I have been blessed to have bonus time for the last 20 plus years. Although some days present more challenges than others, I would never trade them for anything.
